Built for teams who outgrew the off-the-shelf chatbot
A Smarter Bot gives every site its own grounded assistant: answers from knowledge you control, actions it can offer, guardrails you set, and different help for signed-in customers than for strangers. One script tag to install; a full API when you need more.
How it works
No embeddings pipeline to babysit, no prompt engineering. You describe, you answer, you paste.
Tell the assistant what your business does, what visitors can do on the site, and how it should sound. That plain-language brief becomes its grounding. Point it at your website and it drafts answers from your pages. You approve each one before it goes live. Nothing it hasn't been given, nothing you haven't checked.
Give it the questions you already answer every day, mark which ones are for signed-in customers, and list the actions it can offer — track an order, book a demo, open the returns page.
Drop a single async tag on your site. Style it to match your brand, lock it to your domains, and watch conversations arrive. When it cannot answer something, it flags the question in your dashboard.

What you get
Putting an assistant in front of customers takes more than a color picker. A Smarter Bot is built around the things a real business needs to trust it.
Platform rules nobody can loosen, account-wide policy for every assistant you run, and per-assistant blocks, redactions, and length limits. Lower tiers only add restrictions.
Every query is scoped to your account at the model layer. Knowledge, conversations, and keys never cross tenants — not by convention, by construction.
Mark answers and actions as anonymous-only or signed-in-only. Identity is verified with an HMAC signature from your server, so account-specific help only reaches accounts.
Define the things visitors can do on your site. The assistant offers the right one as a button under its reply, at the moment it is relevant.
Every conversation is searchable with visitor identity, page, outcome, token use, and latency. Unanswered questions queue up in the dashboard so you can turn each into a permanent answer in one step.
Colors, radius, fonts, and position from the dashboard — or write your own CSS. The widget lives in a shadow root, so your styles never fight the page and the page never leaks in.
The same engine behind the widget is available over HTTP with streaming. Build a mobile UI, a Slack bot, or a help-center search on top of it.
Monthly plans through Stripe with clear message, knowledge, and history limits. Upgrade or downgrade from the dashboard; no sales call required.

When the assistant cannot answer, it offers to open a support ticket instead of leaving the visitor stuck. Your team works tickets in the dashboard. The visitor can be kept up to date by email, can reply by email with attachments, and can sign in to a portal to see their tickets. No separate helpdesk to buy or connect.
$49.99/mo, added to any plan
Higher limits, more assistants, a dedicated model configuration, SSO, or a hands-on build of your knowledge base. Tell us what you are trying to do and we will scope it with you.
Every plan includes platform guardrails, tenant isolation, signed-in identity, and the full dashboard.
Only from what you give it: your site description, the questions and answers you add, and the actions you define. It is instructed never to invent prices, policies, or features, and to flag anything it cannot answer so you can fill the gap.
Your server computes an HMAC-SHA256 signature of the user id with a per-assistant secret and passes it to the widget. A Smarter Bot recomputes and compares. Without a valid signature the visitor is treated as anonymous, so signed-in-only knowledge and actions stay private.
Yes. Set allowed origins per assistant (wildcards supported) and requests from anywhere else are refused, even with a valid public key.
The widget shows a brief "temporarily unavailable" message instead of failing silently. Limits reset monthly and upgrading takes effect immediately. Paid plans can also opt into overage, so the assistant keeps answering past the cap at a flat per-message rate on your next invoice.
The widget is a single script tag and runs anywhere HTML runs. If you would rather build your own interface, the REST API returns JSON or a Server-Sent Events stream.
Use the contact form and describe the volume, integrations, or setup help you need. Custom plans cover higher message and assistant limits, dedicated configuration, and hands-on onboarding.
They go into a learning queue so you can turn each gap into an answer. With the Support Desk add-on the assistant also offers to open a support ticket, so the visitor is handed to a person instead of hitting a dead end. Your team works tickets in the dashboard, the visitor can get email updates and can reply by email with attachments, and they can sign in to a portal to see their tickets. It is $49.99 a month on top of any paid plan, and you do not need a separate helpdesk.
Branding removal is included on Growth and Scale.
